Common Beginner Issues
How to avoid common issues when getting started with DeepEditor.
Here is a list of the most common issues to avoid when getting started with DeepEditor:
Issue | Solution |
Frame count mismatch between Source and Driving Data | Make sure your Source Media and Driving Data have the same frame count and frame rate |
Uploading video Driving Data files when you intend to use audio as driving data. |
Upload an audio file instead. You should only upload video files when you want DeepEditor to transfer the video performance to your source media. (read more about this here). |
Uploading Source media containing multiple cuts or edits | Your Source media should be a single shot without any cuts or edits. |
Uploading Training data where the character is not speaking or their face cannot be seen | Upload Training data where your character is speaking and their face is fully visible. Use at least 15 seconds of footage and choose shots with a wide variety of mouth movements. |
Uploading unsupported media | Check the Supported Media Formats article before uploading to DeepEditor. |
Using Firefox, Safari or other unsupported browsers | Make sure you use DeepEditor in Google Chrome as this is the only browser we currently support. |
