Refinement Interface - Main Viewer

The main viewer is where your vubbed shot (the Slapcomp) - or your original shot (the Source media) - is displayed.

Slapcomp media / Source media

When you first open your vub in the Refinement tool, the Main Viewer will show a proxy-quality render of the latest vub output.

You will see on the top-left of the viewer that it is labelled as Slapcomp media – a basic composite of the rendered face on the shot.

If you want to see the original mouth movements of your character, you can toggle to view the Source media by clicking this drop-down.

The Gray Face

The character you are vubbing will initially have a ‘gray face’ over it – the model of that character’s face.

This mask allows you to see a live representation of any lip sync adjustments you are making.

Turn the mask off to see the latest render of the vubbed face.

To toggle the gray face on and off, click on the Hide/Show 3D mask icon.

Undo/Redo

Click this icon to undo your latest timeline action. You may click multiple times to go back further.

Click this icon to redo an undone action.

Hotkeys
  • Ctrl/Cmd + Z = Undo previous action
  • Ctrl/Cmd + Y = Redo previous action

Shadows / Gamma / Brightness

These controls allow you to adjust the viewed image in the tool to help you see, for example, darker areas more clearly.

These adjustments are not applied to the exports and are for viewing purposes only.
